It's Time for Integration

April 7, 2017

We live in a time when everyone and everything is connected, so why wouldn’t your software be linked as well?

“One of the major things we’re seeing with our clients is that there’s a lot of automation. And at its core, integration is just automating your software,” explains James Crow, Vice President of Technical Delivery for Advoco. “There are countless benefits to integrating your system, and that’s why so many people are moving towards solutions that link their systems together.”

One of the major benefits of integrating your system is a reduction of time required to enter data. Instead of re-entering the same data two or three times, you enter the data just once and it is copied or sent to your other systems. There is instant time savings because you are cutting out the task of data entry into multiple systems; and it’s no secret that time savings results in cost savings.

An additional benefit of integration is improved accuracy of information. When you’re entering the same data into several different systems, there is an increased likelihood of errors and your data not matching up. With an integrated system, you can be sure that your data is the same across different platforms.

Besides these benefits, having an integrated solution also allows you to act on work more quickly. Instead of waiting for the information to be added multiple times and across multiple systems, it’s automatically pushed—meaning you can get to work faster.

By integrating your systems, you can increase efficiency, reduce errors, and complete work more quickly—saving your company time and money. And who doesn’t like the idea of that?

Our world is growing more and more connected each day. If you haven’t already, it’s time to make your EAM system part of that connection.

Until next time…We are Advoco, make every minute count.
