I am a sucker for a good Dad Joke or an Old Man saying.
Phrases like KISS (keep it simple stupid), HKI Error (human keyboard interface), or “Wag more, bark less” always make me laugh. Most times, I’m laughing more than anyone else in the room.
The other day I heard one that I have added to my toolbox of sayings: “The only difference between a champ and chump is you!”
No one wants to be a chump, we’re all striving to be champs. But what choices are “u” making to bring you to that status?
Do “u” complain, blame others, and find excuses? Or are you “a” team player, problem-solver, and an extreme owner of your actions?
To be a champ, make decisions that will benefit everyone around you, not just yourself. Be a leader even when you’re not in charge. Don’t just bring problems to the table, bring solutions.
Take a minute to think about it, are you a champ or a chump? One letter makes a difference, and so do small actions. Be that difference. Don’t be a chump, be a champ!
Until next time…we are Advoco, make every minute count.
