ADVOCO WINS PEPSICO 2009 SUPPLIER OF THE YEAR AWARD
San Francisco, CA – Pepsico has named Advoco a 2009 Supplier of the Year, in recognition of Advoco’s successful engagement with Pepsico’s Frito Lay division.Working closely with Frito Lay, the Advoco team designed, built and deployed a new, simplified user interface for Frito Lay’s fleet call center, which coordinates over 20,000 vehicles and more than 300 users across the United States. The interface, which was completed under a tight deadline, reduces the time it takes for call center operators to handle incoming calls from drivers. In addition, it accelerates the creation of work orders and automates purchase order creation within Frito Lay’s Infor Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system as well as tightens integration between Infor EAM and Oracle Financials.
Advoco stepped in and created, implemented and delivered a significantly improved process for our Vendor Services offices. By spending time with the users to understand the job they were able to rapidly put together a plan and execute. The results have been impressive and have enabled a simplified process in the back office operations. They truly have been a trusted advisor. Frito Lay Field Fleet had just implemented a new Maintenance Software system. While the new system had the needed functionality, it had some challenging processes for the field teams to use. Frito Lay established a partnership with Advoco to create, implement and deliver a significantly improved process for our Vendor Services offices. Advoco spent time with the users to understand the job and rapidly put together a plan. They supported site training visits to every Region in the US.
