eLUXURY, owned by LVMH (Moët Hennessy - Louis Vuitton), is an online retailer specializing in the sale of designer fashions, beauty products, and gifts from more than 40 prestigious brands, such as Baccarat, Christian Dior, Fendi, Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, and Versace. Given the high expectations of eLuxury's online customers, service disruptions can be especially damaging, so when eLuxury needed to move its corporate headquarters and call center, Advoco got the call.Relocation, without dislocation
We started the project as we always do: by listening intently to the customer's needs. In eLUXURY's case, the needs were straightforward, but technically very difficult to satisfy, as moving a call center on which an entire business depends without placing that business at risk is anything but easy.
By combining our expertise with eLUXURY's, we were able to develop a project management plan everyone could feel confident about. Our proven project management methodology enabled potential risks and issues to be identified, managed, and avoided-and for timelines and budgets to be met.Once we had created detailed strategies and designs for the development and implementation of new voice, data, and server room systems, we also coordinated the construction team, third-party service providers, external consultants, and telecom providers-each of which played a key role in the call center relocation process.
